It's all over the web: T eam RadioShack's final roste r. Below is my take on how they'll do. You may disagree with some of my conclusions, though why you would do that, I have no idea. ;) At first glance you might think Disco is back. Many of these boys are Disco alumni from one year or another: Armstrong, Beppu, Brajkovic, Leipheimer, Li, Paulinho, Popovych, Rubiera, and Vaitkus. But that's only 9...

They don’t make it to the Hotitude threads, they’re not the subject of debate when we talk about Grand Tours, but they’re there every day ‘driving the peloton’, ‘hammering out the rhythm’… choose your favourite cliché. Whilst Bert and Andy remain almost hidden from sight behind the big boys, wrapped in metaphorical cotton wool waiting for their...

It is confirmed: After the signing of Levi Leipheimer and Sergio Paulinho to the new American team RadioShack - built around Lance Armstrong - more Astana riders are to leave the Kazakh squad to continue their support of the seven-time Tour de France winner next year. Andreas Klöden, a podium contender himself, as well as Yaroslav Popovych and Gregory Rast will follow team manager Johan Bruyneel,...

The Astana drama continues Yeah, I know we're probably all sick of it by now, but I thought it was interesting that Kloden, Popovych, Rast and Zubeldia are apparently still under contract with Astana too, although we haven't heard about that as much as the Contador situation. Might be a problem for The Shack.

While 2009 Tour de France winner Alberto Contador is still tied to the Kazakh Astana team for next season, his current director, Johan Bruyneel, has planned to leave the team, joining Lance Armstrong's RadioShack in 2010. But the mastermind behind the American's seven Tour victories is still in negotiations with Kazakh officials about his leave, as well as the signing four of the team's riders, also...

Tuttobiciweb.it had a story in which the Shack! is now up to 23 riders for the season with a few more signings...Though depending on what happens with the Pro Tour situation, they might have to make a few more to get the whole team squared away.... The new reported signings are... Sam Bewley and Bjorn Selander of the Trek-Livestrong Team. Selander had good results this year all around with 5th overall...

Unfortunately I saw almost nothing of the U23 race or time trial this year, thanks to generally hectic times, but if it seems unimportant, here is some information to make you (OK, me) wish we'd watched it. The U23 races have been run since 1996. [Prior to that there were amateur events of a similar nature.] Excluding last year's results -- give those kids some time -- here are some names from past...
