Q: On Highway 178 near the new Fairfax Road overpass is a confusing array of speed limit signs. Some say 65, others admonish you going over 55, and even more baffling is the one 45-mph sign that you see heading west from Kern Canyon Road. What are the rules of road speed here, and should I fear getting a ticket for going 65 before the (obvious) 55-mph zone in the Kern Canyon Road...
