I took this photo on an overcast and very misty morning in December of 2006. An eastbound Metra local commuter train enroute to Chicago Union Station, departs from Elmwood Park Illinois. The next stop will be the Mont Clare station approximately less than a mile east of here at Sayre Avenue. This photo was taken looking west, at the 73rd Avenue railroad crossing.

A favorite fun place I had known for many years in the greater Chicagoland Area, was the Kiddieland Amusement Park in nearby northwest suburban Melrose Park Illinois.
