A woman whose body was found in Lake Michigan on Monday has been identified by the Milwaukee County medical examiner's office as Frances C. Arts. Arts, 61, lived at a Milwaukee group home and was free to come and go from the facility, police said. Employees of the group home told police they last saw Arts at about noon Sunday.

Milwaukee police are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found Monday morning in Lake Michigan. The woman's body was found about 10:30 a.m. near the Summerfest grounds, according to a news release from the city's police department. The woman's body appeared to have been in the water for some time, police said. Her identity has not yet been determined.
