LANSING –House Democrats today passed a number of key reforms that will protect seniors and residents at risk of having their utilities shut off during Michigan's harsh winter months. The plan, which is now set to become law, comes as the result of the tragic deaths of a Bay City man and others who died as result of utility shutoffs last winter. (click for more)
