Baltimore Mayor Convicted

Baltimore Mayor Sheila Dixon (D) was convicted today of "fraudulent misappropriation," the Baltimore Sun reports. Dixon was accused of using or keeping $630 worth of gift cards solicited from a wealthy developer. Her conviction "could force her suspension from office upon sentencing, followed by removal if she loses all appeals."
