Up at 5am this morning to catch our tour bus for our 3 day saffari...The journey to Yulara village is a long way from Alice Springs. We made 3 stops on the way down and got there at 12.30pm.At the first stop we got to see a dingo. When we were in Alice Springs we found a job working on a cattle station and store run for the Aboriginals in the middle of the bush. It sounded ideal we really wanted to be a bush aussie and live in the harsh terrain. In theory it was a nightmare but not because of the job and land because of pain in the arse managers. Arrived on flight from Alice Springs to Cairns on Friday Evening with Jo and Gaz checked into accomodation and headed straight to The Lagoon a huge open air lido on The Esplanade for a quick swim before finding a place to eat. Time to leave Adelaide to go to train station to catch The Ghan to Alice Springs. The Ghan is a very long old train that travels across Australia from Adelaide via Alice Springs then on to Darwin.
