Twice a year, Bryant Park turns itself into the center of the universe, and all of NYC genuflects at its feet. Yes, Racked's hanging at Fashion Week. 1) Okay, it's not the Bryant Park tents—but, trust us, that's a good thing. Above, the brand freaking new Yohji Yamamoto flagship store, opening today in the Meatpacking District. It's actually one of two Yohji-related MePa stores opening today; across...

From left, Peter Som, Preen, Y-3. Photos: Imaxtree It seems plaid has finally grown out of its angry flannel phase — unlike your hipster boyfriend. This Fashion Week, grunge's mainstay looks relaxed and fluid. Y-3 used the nineties pattern in bright orange and yellow from head to toe, while Peter Som belted his gray and black patterned coat. And Preen used it as an accent to otherwise sleek looks....

From left, Y-3, Ralph, Rodarte. Photos: imaxtree.com Fashion Week hardly slowed down for the weekend, and the critics were indefatigable as usual. Ralph Lauren's 40th-anniversary show received universal praise, but the critics got a little more cranky at Y-3, and Rodarte inspired another round of the Great Wearability Debate. Ralph Lauren Cue critical swooning! With a setting — Central Park's Conservancy...

After a slow start, New York Fashion Week picked up steam this weekend. We’ve included some of the shows after the jump, including Michael Kors, Y-3, G-Star and Obedient Son. Our favorites from this weekend? Definitely Buckler and art world darling Patrik Ervell. Buckler: G-Star: Michael Kors: Obedient Son: Patrik Ervell: Y3:

You think you get a break from Fashion Week just because it's Saturday? Up today: Lacoste , Rosa Cha , Diesel and the sexy man-brand of our dreams, Y-3 . And don't forget about Ralph Lauren , who was apparently feeling constrained by Bryant Park and has moved his show to Central Park , where he’ll parade models through the Conservatory Garden way up at 105th Street. (Grab your mace, Condé Nast ladies!)...
