Oh no. Luella Bartley has revealed this morning that her Luella label has ceased trading. It’s not even been two months since she wowed us at London Fashion Week with her S/S10 show, but Club 21, the London-based global lincensee, has pulled its investment from the British brand, saying it had reluctantly “taken the decision [...]

For me, Luella has always been a quirky favorite. One of those brands whose samples I always relished trying on and requesting for work, because the adorable girly shapes and frou frou fabrics created a sense of romance on the bleakest of days. And yet, as much as I loved looking at the clothes, I never ordered or bought at retail anything from the British label. Perhaps this is because I thought the...

With a headline like that you know it's not going to be pretty. Now I always thought I didn't want to put anything negative on my blog, it's not what I'm about, but the last couple of days require me to go all emo on you, minus the all black attire and terrible music. First Gemma Ward was supposed to have a comeback in fashion week. Fashion week came and went and there was no sign of every one's favourite...

Sadly Fashion Month is over. During the dizzying show marathon, I’ve been at home, glued to my computer watching all the stylish mayhem unfold, and what mayhem it is. While it will take a while to digest the actual fashions, the statement items, mainly the lust-inducing shoes, have been leaving an indelible mark on my [...] Related posts: Sole Search: Walkable Wedges Do It Your Damn Self: Paris...

Finally, an actual post about London Fashion Week! This is probably the weirdest selection of designers ever, but here are just a couple of shows that caught my eye (it's probably best to click on the pictures to make them bigger)... LUELLA. I didn't think this was quite as good as their last few collections, but still gorgeous. All the heart shapes, polka dots, bows... And Alexa Chung has worn that...

I have a terrible habit of only looking at the collections of the few usual suspects come Fashion Week. You know the ones... Marc, Luella, Chloe, et al . I just can't muster the energy to dig through all of the collections season after season. Who has the time!? But by doing this, I'm always afraid I'll miss out on something great. Such is the case with this Ralph Lauren collection (at least the first...

Last week was of course London Fashion Week, but this year had a slightly different twist to it... It's the 25th Anniversary of the event and to commemorate this, Elle magazine commisioned 25 people who helped shape British fashion, to create one-off posters for display on central London tube stations from 11th September. I think the artwork is fantastic, it makes a change to the usual insurance adverts...

1. Basso and Brooke: Pink and black are generally just a bit too Claire's for me but I want to wear this every day. WHOA. Lightning is ripping that dress apart, and looking totally awesome doing it. No words. 2. Fashion East: I can so see this look in a million editorials next season, minus the shoes, which look sort of out of place. Perfect, perfect outfit for going around town, minus perhaps the...
