Amelia: Hilary Swank plays the aviatrix with a wanderlust and joie de vivre. Her impeccable style was sensible and comfortable, yet refined. And Earheart’s signature pilot scarves were practically ubiquitous, serving as a counterpoint to her otherwise masculine sensibilities. This Aquascutum chiffon checked scarf fits the bill, and complements both a sweater or a cropped [...] More Like This:...

I think we can agree that this season's London Fashion Week was a huge eff-off success. We got the name designers, we got the Americans, we even got a pretty good helping of blog-loving as me, Discotheque Confusion , Coco's Tea Party and I Luw Fashion all received the golden ticket to the gates of the Burberry show and after-party. In terms of trends, it's not easy to make bold proclamations quite...

Images via style.com Coco Rocha kept us guessing all Fashion Week here in New York. Will she show? Is she taking the season off? From the beginning of Fashion Week it was set that Coco would host the MCM party, given she’s the face of the new line with Joy Gryson, but it was only at Diane von [...]

From left: House of Holland, Jeremy Scott, Twenty8Twelve. London fashion week never fails to entertain us. Jeremy Scott, showing in the U.K. instead of his usual Paris, walked a collection that was Pebbles–and–Bamm-Bamm–inspired. House of Holland was a color explosion, and he even had one look that was all Regina George. Twenty8Twelve was pretty-girl-goes-rock but ultimately not...

Welcome to London Fashion Week! After religiously checking the weather for days before my departure, this fashionista has been blessed with dry weather and sunshine—shocking for this city. No major Anna Wintour sightings yet—although she is reported to be here covering the shows for the 25th anniversary of the British Fashion Council. I did spy her [...]

We love how Jaeger has been transformed over the past few years from a super-conservative shop for ladies-who-lunch, to a rocking label showing Kate Moss-style shaggy jackets and star-print 170s blouses on the catwalks at London Fashion Week (see above). Fashion power player Harold Tillman – he’s also currently chairman of the British Fashion Council - is the man behind Jaeger’s transformation,...

There have been rumours of it for months, but now we can confirm that Anna Wintour is going to be front row and central for London Fashion Week in September. No doubt her visit - the first since 2006 - has been prompted by the return to the London catwalks of some of the capital's greatest design talent, including Burberry, for the 25th anniversary. Last time Anna was here she...

If Antony Gormley's Angel of the North had an office job, he'd probably wear something like Habitat, the coppery, oxidised and distressed number that the Turner Prize-winning sculptor has created with Graeme Fidler, of the British brand Aquascutum, for Esquire's Singular Suit exhibition. Opening today at London Fashion Week's new home, Somerset House, and featuring in the all-important September issue...

Vogue UK reports that British fashion brand Aquascutum has pulled out of London Fashion Week this September. Aquascutum has been put up for sale by its parent company, Renown. "While Renown awaits a sale of Aquascutum, they are consolidating their investment in the business during this period and will therefore not show at London Fashion Week in September," the company announced this afternoon....
