Needs a New Knitting Project

Yesterday I finished the last of three projects that I had started over the summer. Yes. That's right, over the summer. They shouldn't have taken me so long but I would get into a bad state on all of them and not want to fix any of them and so I would just put them all aside. Then I would pull one out and rip out the bad rows and continue one until I screwed up again and so on. Eventually they all...

Harrogate Knitting and Stitching Show

I went to the K&S show in Harrogate yesterday. Poop of a journey with an accident closing the A1 adding an hour to the journey, because we were later arriving there were no parking spaces, so it was a harrassed me that arrived. The weather has been awful by us but on the plus side I have been able to curl up by the fire with my crochet and dare I say it... a mince pie!! I've finished a buggy blanket for my little one but as you can see it seems to have been adopted by our Purdy cat who has been a real home bird since our other cat died. I've also made a scarf for my eldest using some lovely soft yarn and am now making

Finished My Owl Gloves!

Jury duty is good for something, eh? =D And Knit Picks swish is super soft. I'll probably get it again even though a lot of people are saying it isn't really machine washable. And here is an update on my Miss Marple socks. I have them both worked up to this point but the pictures keep coming out more yellow than green, so I wanted to just put up a picture with the right coloring. :) I think mosaic...

COWLABUNGA! It feels like playing dress-up with...

COWLABUNGA! It feels like playing dress-up with color. I needed an all purpose neckwarmer that would go with anything in my wardrobe and this fills the bill. Purples, pinks, orangey reds, aqua, green, lavender. Just about everything but yellow. Wear it loose or fastened and feature the color of the garment or its contrast. Knit in seed stitch it integrates the changing yarns for a better blend. I used...
