The brand new Volvo C30 BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle) made its debut today at the Frankfurt Motor Show , of course. This is the first electric vehicle from the Swedish manufacturer and shows that Volvo Cars’ ambitious electrification strategy has quickly produced concrete results.

One of the most awaited cars at the Frankfurt Motor Show is the facelifted Volvo C30 . The front and rear of the car take cues from the S60 concept and the C70, which was newly revealed. Modifications to the front-end include new panels for the wings and bonnet, and in line with all the other current models, now has a larger Volvo logo in the restyled honeycomb grille.

For the first time ever, Volvo has a car that qualifies for free road tax, the facelifted version of the C30 drive. The model, which was launched at the Frankfurt Motor Show , has had its CO2 emissions cut to 99g/km. The drive model however, didn’t get the new sports chassis found in the regular C30.
