Toyota expects a sales boost to its SUV and crossover lineup with its introduction of the 2010 4Runner , which will be priced similarly to the outgoing 2009 model. Sales were reported to be down 63% for the period ending in August; so understandably, a price increase wasn’t considered. The 4Runner carries a $29,440 base price, including $800 for destination.
