The big hitters -- Chevrolet Traverse, Dodge Ram, Ford F-150, Honda Pilot, Nissan Murano -- are all present, but plenty of low-volume and specialty vehicles also made the first cut in voting to determine the 2009 North American Car and Truck of the Year.

Last month we posted the lastest results for TrueDelta’s Vehicle Reliability Survey. This set of results included a couple of early 2009 models, the Nissan Murano and Jaguar XF, well head of any other public source of vehicle reliability information. The Murano’s launch has been cleaner than most recent Nissan new product launches. Owners of the all-new [...]

A little behind-curtain action for you: When I finished with the 2008 Nissan Murano, I asked Farago if he was interested in a "Take Two" review. He wasn't. As I had even less interest in writing one ("Ride is softer than butter... no! Softer than veal fat"), I didn't. Why waste time insulting a fat pig when I can be losing hundreds of dollars at online poker? As you can imagine, I wasn't exactly doing...

Its styling is certainly modern, if not overly exciting. The cabin is accommodating, if not excessively spacious. The handling is...

The folks over at Inside Line have a whopper on their hands, proclaiming that the 2009 Nissan Murano will get a convertible version in 2010 as a 2011 model year vehicle. And not just any weird CUV/SUV convertible: a freaking soft-top four-door convertible . If this rumor is true, we're talking about a vehicle that should perform as awesome as it looks and give you a sunburn at the same time... all...

Posted on 08.13.2008 13:57 by Erin Brooks Filed under: Nissan | convertible | Nissan Murano | future cars Four-door convertibles are a rare breed. The extra area it takes necessary to go topless over a sedan creates safety and structural problems when a roof is not in place. In fact, Lincoln's 67 Continental was the last sedan convertible to come direct from the factory. But Nissan is thinking about...

Whoa... Where did this come from? A Murano drop-top? Inside Line is reporting that Nissan is indeed working on such a vehicle, and it's expected to arrive in 2011. 4-door convertibles are nothing new. Lincoln offered a Continental back in the 1960s with one; and back in the earlier part of the 20th century 4-door convertibles were pretty common. So my question is: Will they offer a dual-cowl version...
