Now before any of you off-roaders get all giddy about this new Mitsubishi—take a deep breath. This is for Brazil, not the USA. Which is really a shame, as this is far more interesting than the current Dodge Dakota-based Raider. Speaking of which, when was the last time you saw a Mitsubishi Raider on the road? I don't think I've ever seen one... At any rate, this Brazilian Amazon swamp rat, er, L200...

If the overwhelming reception to the Mitsubishi Raider is any indication, we expect big things from the Nissan Frontier-based Suzuki Equator, but not really. It goes on sale at the end of this year at which point you could buy one. Maybe you prefer the Suzuki's front grille to the Nissan's. We do. But not that much. -- Daniel Pund, Senior Editor, Detroit
