Details are still scarce, but it looks like the upcoming Aston Martin One-77 will surely kick back sides of such supercars as the Lamborghini Reventón and the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren . The 77 part of its name means that only 77 supercars will be sold to the luckiest of us who can afford paying a price of about £1.2 million. Aston Martin One-77: aluminum and carbon-fiber

1972 Mercedes-Benz 280SE 4.5 - Collectible Classic Listen up, all you children of the modern era: Believe it or not, there was a time when Mercedes-Benz didn't build outwardly exciting cars. Forget the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren and its 207-mph top speed. As you may remember, last month we brought you a rendering of the not-yet-released Mercedes SL65 AMG Black Series, sent to us by the talented artist Jonathan Sibal. As it turns out, when the SL65 AMG Black Series was unveiled a couple weeks later, the rendering was remarkably close to the finished product - a clear testament to Jon's artistic prowess. But the story doesn't end there, ladies and gentlemen....

According to reports, this hair-raising accident happened in Qatar sometime during the morning of July 15th when the 22-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren allegedly lost control of the vehicle. We don’t know for sure if the driver actually made it out alive or any other details for that matter, but as you can see in the pictures after the jump, the SLR was literally torn into pieces....

Details of the forthcoming Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Speedster continue to slowly trickle out of Germany, with both photos and a video emerging today that clearly depict a retractable rear spoiler. It's the first time the aerodynamic aid has been seen on the model (at least to my knowledge), although the hypnotizing camouflage does such a fantastic job obscuring the SLR Speedster's details and inducing...

As well as producing Formula 1 cars together since 1995 McLaren and Mercedes have also been producing road cars. But that joint venture is coming to an end. Together the two produced the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren, plus a convertible version (above) and a hard-tuned special edition dubbed 722 (taking its name from Stirling Moss’s car number [...]

Filed under: Supercars , Mercedes-Benz Click for hi-res gallery of the Mercedes SLR McLaren It's hard not to follow a story like the veritable fleet of new supercars set to follow the controversial Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren. The supercar came out of the partnership between Benz and McLaren in Formula One, but while the racing cars have been highly competitive, the SLR has been less so. As a result,...

It's never a good day when you prang the car. And it's a particularly bad day when that car is a Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren costing £330,000.
