Eight-months-pregnant Enja Moore is on the loose with her six kids after stealing them from the "father's San Leandro home late Tuesday night." Swiping the father's Mazda MPV minivan in the process, Moore and her children - ages 1, 3, 4, 5, 10 and 11 - are presumably still in the Bay Area. Oh, and the three-year-old kid, we're told, needs insulin shots regularly, so if you've seen Moore (California...

It's face lift time for Mazda’s MPV minivan in Japan. This third generation MPV, launched in 2006, is domestic market only and maybe not many outside of Japan know that top versions get the exact same grunty 2.3-liter direct injection turbo engine as the Mazdaspeed6. The 2008 nip ‘n tuck package brings new grilles, bumpers, and a stronger face for Mazda’s underrated van. There are new tail lights...

Christmas Eve, and all the Playmobil world is asleep under the tree. Meanwhile, minivans are on the rampage. And flying reindeer, too: A Mazda MPV crashed through the wall of the studio just as Chicago's ABC7 10 o'clock news began....

It seems that one Chicago driver had a bit of a problem with the evening newscast last night, and did a little more than just change the channel. At around 10 p.m. on Sunday, while ABC 7’s WLS-TV weekend news anchor Ravi Baichwal was on the air, a man driving a Mazda MPV crashed into the reinforced glass wall of the television studio. The man, whose name hasn't been released, was carrying an Indiana...

I don't know what's more jolting to me -- the fact a Mazda MPV took a flying header into the Chicago ABC7 studio at the top of yesterday's 10:00 PM broadcast or that the e-mail accompanying this tip was "...pretty good reaction shot from the anchor....who bears a slight resemblance to Wert, if he were Indian." Now that I look at it, maybe if Ravi Baichwal were a Jewish kid from Metro Detroit, he'd...

Our Mazda MPV decided that it didn't want to start any more the other day. With the car in the driveway, we considered our options. Get the car towed and repaired. Move, leave the car in the driveway, and buy a new car at the new house. While deciding, one of the people in our neighborhood told [...]

Beautiful day yesterday. Chased the puppy and cleaned a couple of the cars. All of a sudden, I own 5 vehicles. That's 3 'burbs--a 95, a 96, and a 99. Throw in the Mazda MPV and the boys Cavalier and yeah, parking gets tricky at our house--especially with the 'one wide' driveway. The Mazda and the 96 'burb are going up for sale this week. Then I'd like to sell the 99 'burb and get a smaller SUV or car...
