Scott Burgess: Honda Accord Crosstour looks better than its picture

Don't look at the picture. The 2010 Honda Accord Crosstour looks much better than any camera can capture. In person, the Accord Crosstour looks downright stylish.

2011 Honda Accord Crosstour Review and Prices

Crosstour borrows Accord’s most powerful engine and fortifies its suspension to support its additional300 pounds of curb weight (500 with AWD). A four-cylinder engine isn’t consistent with Honda’s initial positioning of the Crosstour, so expect the 2011 model to return with a 3.5-liter V-6 as its sole engine. Rated at 271 horsepower for model-year 2010, it automatically deactivates...

Autometer - which recently bought Stack and its line of competition gauges - has developed a new tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) that ditches the batteries...

A Short Account Of The Honda Accord

By Timothy Vazquez A prevailing gas catastrophe and the former accomplishment of the Civic were extremely helpful in Honda's profitable debut of the Accord. The principal Japanese model to be manufactured in the US and a well-known car across the planet, the Honda Accord has advanced a long way in terms of production and stature from the time of it appeared in the medium-sized auto sector in 1976....

Ford's Main Problem: The UAW's Crippling Job Classifications and Work Rules

Ford's 2,215 page 2007 master contract with the UAW 1941 UAW-Ford contract Factory wages aren't Detroit's problem, and strikes are very rare in the auto industry nowadays. The real issue is the job classifications (see top photo of Ford's 2,215 page 2007 master contract with the UAW vs. the 1941 UAW-Ford contract below). Best Mugen Product At SEMA From 1984 [Sema]

Honda's not-quite-in-house tuner Mugen brought out a trio of tweaked Hondas and the best one is this wonderful 1984 CRX Mugen prototype. Oh, how far we've not come. The 1984 Mugen prototype was packed with go-fast gear including the company's own engine and exhaust tweaks, revised suspension, and a clutch-type LSD. Additionally, the still-handsome body was given a body kit that enhanced the little...

Paul Ingrassia: How Ford Made Its Comeback - WSJ.com

"It's interesting, then, that Consumer Reports rates the quality of the four-cylinder Ford Fusion higher than the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord, and the Lincoln MKZ higher than its Acura and Lexus counterparts. The Fusion and MKZ are built in a factory without job classifications because it's in Hermosillo, Mexico, and isn't represented by the UAW. If Ford targets future expansion in Mexico, the...
