After watching the Pittsburgh Steelers’ offensive line get completely overrun by the Philadelphia Eagles’ blitz last Sunday, I have come to one painful and terrible conclusion — someone wants Ben Roethlisberger dead. Look at the evidence. A mysterious Chrysler New Yorker turns in front of Roethlisberger’s motorcycle during the offseason. Everyone knew he wasn’t wearing a [...]

Since 1977, the BMW 7-series has represented the thinking man’s luxury car. A vehicle that was, on paper, neither as gargantuan as American competitors like the Lincoln Town Car or Chrysler New Yorker (closer actually in size to the two-door Cordoba), nor as austere as its main Deutschland domestic rival, the Mercedes S-Class, it nevertheless represented the perfect balance of substance and style...

Hey guys...guess what? MMCNY is back! Its been awhile. You all are looking great. We should get together and do lunch. Prior to the game (and season!) starting, I said to Cotter that we couldn't afford to start slow. One Roethlisberger pick, one slacking defense and the season already would have been in trouble. I wanted to see an efficient offense, a steady O-line and smothering defense early

If you act now, you can see a showroom-fresh 1957 Chrysler New Yorker on display in a contemporary Chrysler showroom. It's very then-meets-now, but in a good way. At the corner of 16th Street and South Van Ness Avenue in...

BOC Never saw this vid before. Caught my eye because of the car. That's a 65 Chrysler, either the New Yorker (the more common model) or the 300, which was my first car. What's swaying me is the tail light configuration, that's exactly like my old ride. What a great damn car. 383 4 barrel. Machine. I wrecked [...]

Ephraim mentions his ‘57 Chevy and it got me to thinking about cars. Cars I’ve had, that is. The first car that was mine to drive was a ‘49 Chrysler New Yorker that my parents got at auction in 1961 for $65. What a tank. The first car I ever bought [...]

The first thing we need to know about this car is that it has enormous fins. While GM liked sharp pointy fins on its cars of this era (as we've seen a few blocks from this car ), Chrysler decided that fins needed to be thick, with bulk . But if we can wrench our eyes from those glorious, insane fins, we may want to contemplate the fact that the '57 New Yorker had the largest engine available in any...
