Fully 82% of you felt that the $8,995 Cadillac Cimarron was priced way too high, so we're going to make the choice more challenging this time. What would you say to a 70,000-mile, extremely original 1977 Chrysler Cordoba with all the options, Soft Corinthian Leather, and "Coffee Sunfire Metallic" paint? Look at this car! Thing is, the price is $7,900. Your call! Thanks to Jordan for the tip. [ Craigslist...

A decisive 85% of you felt that the $39,975 Iran Khodro Paykan Deluxe required a major helping of Hubba Rocks to look like a wise investment, but today's choice might be more of a dilemma. Yes, the Cimarron was a total disaster for Cadillac, diluting its brand at the worst possible time, but that makes it a historically significant car… and Pixel has found this super-original, low-mileage example...

The Caddy-that-wasn't is so bad, in fact, that it's claimed iconic status...

Welcome to Down On The Street , where we admire old vehicles found parked on the streets of the Island That Rust Forgot: Alameda, California. With all the cool cars and trucks we've seen in this series, it may come as a shock to some that the first-ever DOTS car- that is, the first use of "Down On The Street" as the name- was this Cadillac Cimarron d'Oro , shot with a seriously crappy cellphone camera....

The first time GM attempted to create a BMW 3-Series fighter, we got the Cadillac Cimarron. After 27 years of trying again (and again and again) to take on the rear-wheel drive driver's car, we've got a rebadged Australian import that goes by the name Pontiac G8. No question: the G8 is a far better automobile than the Cimarron (what modern car isn't'). But it's still no 3-Series. Frankly, it's not...
