Customers interested in buying something new from the Buick brand have been left high and dry since the release of the Enclave CUV in early 2007. They won’t have to wait much longer. While we've seen it fairly un-covered and we've already seen a little tease , our sources tell us these renderings we've commissioned from the folks at KORSDesign are almost exactly what you should expect to see when...

Merry Christmas. Production of the Chevrolet Trailblazer, GMC Envoy, Saab 9-7X will end December 23, as GM will shutting down their Moraine, Ohio plant. Sales of these vehicle have tanked, as have most SUVs. The good news is that the Chevy Traverse, Saturn Outlook, GMC Acadia and Buick Enclave have been hits in this tough segment. Actually this is not a surprise, at least the ending of production...

Filed under: Spy Photos , Sedans/Saloons , China , Buick , Misc. Auto Shows Click above for more images of the 2010 Buick Regal Two weeks ago we showed you spy shots of a 2010 Buick Regal caught testing in China that appeared to be nothing more than a rebadged Opel Insignia . (As you may recall, we'll be getting the 2010 Buick LaCrosse in the States.) All three of those cars are based on GM's Epsilon...

The last photos we posted regarding the new Buick Regal were heavily camoflauged, making the lines of the Regal hard to see. The above photos show the Regal looking good in red, although the badging is covered up, you can see the Buick verticle style front grill has been added onto the Insignia. [...]

May be... supercharged buick riviera i use a 62" sony lcd 1080p. i use it for both movies and games. i picked lcd over plasma because it works best for me and my set up. i picked 1080p over 1080i because it's progressive scan. lcd is a type of screen, it comes in two different forms: falt panel or rear projetction. flat panel is comparable to plasma. and lcd rear projection is comparable to DLP technology....

Filed under: Etc. , Plants/Manufacturing , GM , Canada Sure, the Chevrolet Impala and Buick LaCrosse are not the most exciting models in GM's lineup, but the Oshawa, Ontario plant that's been cranking out well-assembled W-platform vehicles for years has won a rare honor from J.D. Power and Associates. Power's Founder's Award is reserved for people or corporations that J.D and friends feel are uncommonly...

We just produced an article on one of my favorite subjects: Twinned Vehicles . I like this subject, and this article, because it highlights a topic I feel many consumers don't fully recognize. Sure, most of the people reading this blog know that a Buick Enclave is bascially a Chevrolet Traverse, which is really a GMC Acadia -- all of which are essentially re-bodied and re-badged Saturn Outlooks. But...

2008 Buick Enclave CXL The exterior design is downright voluptuous, which is exactly what a Buick should be. This vehicle can be described in one word: Isolation. The Enclave is one of the quietest cars I've ever been in, and that list includes heavy-hitting luminaries like the Mercedes-Benz S-class and the Bentley Arnage . The lack of outside noise intrusion in this thing - remarkable on its own...

Filed under: Spy Photos , Sedans/Saloons , China , Buick Click above for high-res gallery of 2010 Buick Regal spy shots from China We don't feel slighted anymore over the Chinese getting what appears to be a pretty nice looking Buick Regal, not after those spy shots from earlier today showing the 2010 Buick LaCrosse that we'll get in the U.S. After all, the Chinese Buick Regal appears to be not much...

The battle of big American quasi-luxury sedans is heating up as the 2010 Buick LaCrosse nears production. Although this is our best set of spy photos yet, it's still rather silly as the Buick Invicta concept essentially previewed what's hiding under the camo here. As you can see, Buick is taking dead aim at the Lincoln MKS for the coveted role of "car for sexy grandfathers" title. Spy report after...

The Opel Insignia was unveiled at the 2008 London Auto Show, but CCT readers will know that the car was spotted out testing in the PRC branded as a Buick, as the Insignia seems set to replace the aging Regal. For Chinese consumers. the Regal was one of the first mass produced Buicks that [...]

Welcome to Down On The Street , where we admire old vehicles found parked on the streets of the Island That Rust Forgot: Alameda, California. After seeing some kind of weird foreign wagon yesterday, we're going to return to good ol' vintage Detroit iron today. Yes, before The General got all innovative with electron-powered machinery, he was building two-ton cruisers that didn't just park- they dropped...

Filed under: Time Warp , Etc. , Humor It's not funny. Okay, maybe it's worth a chortle. It's also likely not effective, but if you don't want your early '90s vintage Buick Century to be washed or blown away by nature's fury, you try stuff. Besides, if you're in the midst of an evacuation frenzy, what do you really have time to do? It looks like this owner had the opportunity to toss a carpet on the...
