Five-cylinder engines have long been an Audi trademark. First used in 1977 in the Audi 100/5000, five-cylinders took Audi upmarket and clearly differentiated the brand from the competition. The Audi 200 Turbo, with its 170-hp inline-five, became the world's fastest four-door in 1984; the 315-hp, Audi...

Catch a Eurosport in your peripheral vision quickly, and it'd be easy to mistake it for a Volvo 7-series, or even an Audi 5000 (G). What we have here is a time capsule in two ways. First, the Celebrity was GM's redemption from the X-Body's failure...

That's right, we are Audi 5000 G. Well, from Vancouver at least. That's right, Herohill's reign in Vancouver has officially come to an end. Starting on the the bright tomorrow, Nic and I are driving across this country of ours taking pics, listening to AM radio, visiting friends and basically decompressing. Look for a stronger, unified Halifax version of the site - much like an indie bloggin', bad...

For Audi fans, Tresser was THE modifier in the 1980's and 1990's. The firm created a very quick (and sought after) Audi 5000 Turbo (Audi 200 in Europe), a Quattro convertible, and many others. I happened to stumble upon one of Tresser's last creations, a slightly used Audi 200 Turbo Quattro. While the engine, interior, and body panels were rotted, the carbon fiber hood and trunk-lid were not. Mr....

This car has been an excellent value. Once you get a good audi mechanic and a source for inexpensive parts this car is cost effective. And if you really want to cut cost, you alone can take a repair or modifications with it. Its easy as long as you have a manual. Parts are available online. I'm sure many TTAC readers will recall the great Audi 5000 "unintended acceleration" legal turmoil of the mid-80's. The legal/media feeding frenzy set Audi sales back by a decade, despite the fact that every case of "unintended acceleration" was found to be caused by human, not mechanical error. Well, those bastions of quality journalism, the Detroit Free Press and Motor Trend blog , are trying to...

This morning for the second time this week we had to wake Archer up. I figured eventually he would make his little stretchy-sounds and rise to his feet but uh... not so much. 9:00am this morning he was still Audi5000. I pulled the blankets off of him like I did yesterday (and the day before)...Like I have done on and off for the past couple of months when Archer's sleeping habits somehow went from...
