Indonesian Ambassador Bagas Hapsoro announced Wednesday the opening of a bilateral interfaith dialogue between Lebanon and Indonesia under the patronage of Prime Minister Fouad Siniora to promote mutual understanding and a culture of peace. The dialogue is to be held on October 13 at Dar al-Fatwa.

Lebanese Prime Minister Fouad Siniora announced on Saturday that Egypt will supply Lebanon with electricity and gas to meet the growing consumption in a country that has been experiencing severe power rationing for the past 15 years.
