Today’s 100m bore testament to the notion of small nations being able to hit way above their head. Of the eight finalists, six came from small nations, three from Jamaica (population 2.7 million), two from Trindad and Tobago (population 1.3 million) and one from Netherlands Antilles which numbers a mere 192,000.
