Nigeria's national female basketball team the Lady Tigers returned to Lagos early hours of yesterday from Antananarivo, Madagascar where they finished fifth in the 21st African Championship for Women. The Nigerian team lost out 89-45 to Senegal in the quarter-finals but finished fifth after beating Cameroon and Mozambique in the following two classification matches.
