Description:Situated in the centre of Val Thorens, Europe's highest resort, Residence L'Altineige is in a rural, mountainous location, just 100 metres from the slopes. The residence's apartments all include balconies, private bathrooms, towels, linens and fully equipped kitchenettes. Ski storage is provided for bulky ski equipment and cribs are available for families with small children. Parking and laundry facilities can be found nearby and the residence's multilingual staff can help with any queries regarding the local area. Val Thorens offers year round skiing with 140 kilometres of marked runs. It is also located at the top of the 'Three Valleys', one of the largest ski areas in the world, with 600 kilometres of pistes and 200 ski lifts. The village also has a snow park, six kilometre toboggan run, ice skating, tennis courts and a ski area reserved for children.
