| Description: | The Kimberley hotel, on the corner of Roeland and Buitekant street, has been restored . This Cape Town landmark was built in 1895, and was the starting point for horse-drawn carriages leaving Cape Town for Kimberley. The hotel boasts a conference centre for up to 60 delegates, a coffee shop and the famous 100 year Pub with the original decor still in place. Guests can quench their thirst admiring Table Mountain, or take a two-minute walk to the District Six Museum. Being on the edge of the city, it is only a five minute walk to Parliament and the Cape Castle, and a further 30 minutes to the famous Cableway. We have now restored the building to its original splendour offering a yesteryear experience with todays conveniences.
