Despite an official promise of launching its 9-inch mobile tablet PC at the end of October, Archos has not delivered and is now saying the device will not see store shelves until early in 2010. The device will ship early in December, but retailers such as Amazon and Walmart will not get the device until the new year. About 3 weeks ago we posted an article regarding the Archos 9 PC Tablet which at the time we believed would be on the shelves soon, however it now looks to have been delayed until December.Not only has the device been delayed until then but it also looks like the actual date the device will hit the shelves will be sometime in Q1 2010, therefore if you want yours in December you must pre-order the 9...

You can usually rely on the FCC to provide not only pre-announcement shots of upcoming gadgets, but internal images that give modders a good idea of how the final device might be tweaked into something far more useful.
