My PDA-N is not connecting to my PC

Hi, I'm a med student and you could say that my whole life depends on my PDA. I have an i-mate PDA-N but I cannot synchronize it to my computer. I got it used (without the original software), however I tried it on 3 different PCs: 2 running Windows XP and ActiveSync 4.5 and one running windows Vista with its built-in sync. I could connect via bluetooth to the one running Vista but the USB connection...
