Despite my efforts of applying for accreditation for a photo pass I never managed to get one for the London shows of Cliff Richard and The Shadows. I applied for today (23rd Oct) via the press section on the Live Nation web site. Not all days are available so, I assume that those day that are made available, well, are. As I'd not heard yay or nay, I thought I'd contact the person that sorts out all...

Unless things go seriously wrong for me tomorrow when I see my Consultant... For now We are back to having lovely meals and deserts...and maybe I should've had one before but I invested in a table on castor's that you can bring across a bed or armchair and alter the height accordingly(not unlike the kind you see in hospital)it will make eating a meal much easier for Mum. It wasn't cheap so I'll just...

No 3 Travellin' Light - Cliff Richard This is is only on the list for one reason. In October 1959, when I was fourteen, my family came into possession of it's first gramophone. It was very second hand and only played 78's. It may have been Nanan (again) who took my brother John and I to a nearby shop in Braintree to purchase our first two records. Cliff was No 1 in the charts at the time with Travellin'...

I forgot to mention in my last blog that I went to see a concert on Thursday night. It was Cliff Richard and the shadows, playing at the Sheffield Arena. I have been learning to play the guitar for around 18 months and I got this as a gift for the old man that teaches me. I see him about once every couple of weeks and he gives me lessons for free, so I wanted to repay his kindness. He is ok with Cliff...

More from the keyboard of Jacques The Kipper :- "There have been a few notable be-quiffed and be-spectacled rock 'n' rollers up in Scotland these last few days. Cliff and the Shadows last week, Richard Hawley this. Cliff produces wine; Richard, going by his "merch" stall anyway, produces Worcester Sauce and tea towels. Cliff believes in God; Richard believes in the "f" word....

Been busy, just with life, wedding, work etc... Mum and I saw Cliff and the Shadows last week, which was IMMENSE. And now I'm watching him on telly, which is great :) It was just ridiculously exciting seeing him LIVE!! and singing along, and being ridiculously stunned by how young he looks. Oh, and the Shadows too - Hank Marvin just making that guitar sing ! I enjoyed the instrumental sets as much...

THERE’S nothing like a final, last-to-chance-to-see, farewell tour – and The Shadows enjoyed the first one so much a few years ago they decided to do it all over again.

IT HAS been billed as the second, and presumably final, farewell tour of Cliff Richard and The Shadows. But it might not be wise to bet on that.
