I can't recommend this article enough for those looking for all the arguments against the Waxman-Markey climate change bill. Bottom line: the law may very well do nothing to reduce carbon emissions, and even make the problem worse, all while adding tons of cruft and handouts to an already-byzantine system of energy/agriculture regulation.
