Jonathan Hickman's 'Fantastic Four' Comics Free Online

Filed under: Marvel Jonathan Hickman's new run on "Fantastic Four" is very good. I say this not as a "Fantastic Four" fan, but as someone who has been almost totally indifferent to the family pack of superpowered teams, except for that one time in "Ultimate Fantastic ... Carey's books are darkly witty and entertaining; so much so that I forgive him his major flaw: uneven pacing. I'm curious as to whether the fact that Carey began his writing career as a graphic novel writer rather than...

So, um. Is it just me, or is Ultimatum TERRIBLE? I mean, granted, I've never been a huge fan of the Ultimate universe period (except for a brief fondness for parts of Ultimate Fantastic Four and Ultimate X-Men) but...isn't going all scorched earth a bit much? I might just be annoyed at the whole Magneto thing. Or the Cyclops thing. Or... Then again, I'm still holding a grudge over that Blob and Wasp...

Ultimatum Edit Week: The Annotations

It took about nine months, but the comic miniseries Ultimatum had finally finished, meaning that the 4th Letter fan-favorite Ultimatum Edit is kaput as well. As always, ManiacClown and I had a blast and we hope you enjoyed it as well. Thing is, we make a lot of references to random things that I’m sure fly [...]

Ultimatum Edit Week 5: Day Six

We’re almost done. Last time we checked in, the Ultimates and X-Men escaped the exploding Avalon and then Cyclops got shot in the head at a rally. Surely that would be enough, but I think Loeb can squeeze in maybe ONE more death before he calls it in. Hey, remember that Ultimate Fantastic Four arc when [...]
