Went to the Colony Saturday for the monthly midnight show, this month being Evil Dead 2 . Classic Sam Raimi low-budget horror with comedic elements, firehoses of gore because the Hammer horror buckets of blood approach was too subtle. Mostly went for sociability with many people who were also going, and partly because the last time I saw the film was when it came out. Holds up surprisingly well overall....
