Masters of Horror S2 10: We All Scream for Ice Cream (2007)

Two good episodes in a row? I don't know if I can handle this. We All Scream for Ice Cream is adapted from the John Farris short story, and directed by Tom Holland ( Fright Night, Child's Play, Thinner ). It's enjoyable due to the performance of William Forsythe, and Holland's direction recalls the freaky fun of his earlier work, or the televised version of It , or Killer Klowns from Outer Space ....

House, "Instant Karma": King Midas in reverse

Quick spoilers for last night's "House" coming up just as soon as I offend a cabbie... Aside from the usual silly Thirteen obsession that House and his writers share, "Instant Karma" was the strongest of the post-"Broken" episodes to date. House was more involved with the case, while still trying his best to be a better man, Lee Tergesen was his usually strong self as...

House: Episode 6.05 – “Instant Karma” Spoiler Photos

Episode 6.05 – Instant Karma Air Date: October 12, 2009 These are photos from the upcoming House episode, Instant Karma. There’s no description of the patient that they will be treating except that he’s a young male (at least from this angle and the hairstyle, the patient looks male.) From the one patient photo, it’s impossible to tell how old he is, or what may be wrong with...

Lee Tergesen: Waynes World and Generation Kill

I've come to love the HBO mini-series Generation Kill. One of the characters, the reporter from Rolling Stones magazine has always reminded me of someone and I could not remember who. I then realised that the actor, Lee Tergesen, plays Terry in Waynes World! No wonder I recognised him. Two totally awesome acting gigs! Here check it out! Check out Lee Tergesen's IMDB page . Potential Generation Kill...

Point Break (1991) Review

Point Break (1991) I watched this one year’s ago, and I remember it being injected with loads of action sequences, and it included a stellar cast that gave very solid and remember able performances. You can’t help but get involved while watching this, and trying to understand where they were going with the final story. The [...] Post from: Chewypopcorn.com Written by: Terry Larch Point...

Lee Tergesen continues to be awesome. (Well, he was awesome back in 2002-2004 and I continue to find out about it. I assume he's still awesome. Although I can only read a little bit of awesomeness at a time because the fan questions hit my embarrassment squick. There is way too much obvious interest in Lee/Chris Meloni. ACTORS, PEOPLE. ACTORS .) "Chris had gotten shot, and we were in the pod,...

Oy, another birthday...46

There's nothing particularly special about turning 46, unfortunately. Another mark on the calendar. You folks out there who turned 50 =nudge= know how to handle the real milestones... :) To the right is an embarrassing array of photos from my childhood to the present. I spared myself the agony of including junior high photos; all of those should have been incinerated. I couldn't find any with embarrassing...

On Saturday, Starbucks burned my panini so they gave me a bunch of free drink vouchers. I used one this morning to get an EXTRA SUPER-DUPER-HUMONGOUS CUP OF CAFFEINE AND SUGAR. Alas, it has done nothing to counteract the effect of the full dose of sleepytiems pills I took last night yesterday afternoon. Damn dirty drugs! *shakes fist* Then again, perhaps it has... I've just watched Lee Tergesen play an evil redneck Aryan gunnery sergeant intent on nuking... something. Anything, as far as I can tell. Oh, JAG. You're so crap. (And let's not get into the, "My partner's okay but she's got this thing about proving she's as good as any male officer," and the rapeyness. Welcome to the 90s...) I have now decided that I will only be watching him in Law &...

This Lee Tergesen thing is officially out...

This Lee Tergesen thing is officially out of control. I'm currently watching ancient episodes of Weird Science on YouTube. And Weird Science makes Saved by the Bell look intelligent, thought-provoking and deep. And well-dressed. Disturbingly, Lee Tergesen looks even more like Paul McDermott. DAAS Kapital-era, complete with half-shaved head and pseudo-military clothing.

I miss the days when I was...

I miss the days when I was capable of writing something that didn't totally suck. I just keep telling myself it's a first draft and I can fix it later. In other news, Lee Tergesen's official website is crap and full of broken links. This makes me sad because there are meant to be mp3s of his songs from the Oz musical episode but there aren't.
