Sienna Miller Takes Off Her Top, Smooches It Up with Some Married Guy

Sienna Miller has committed a grievous crime. She was recently photographed off the coast of Italy all lovey-dovey with actor Balthazar Getty, who is married with four children. Sienna’s crime: bad posture. A topless Sienna Miller, hunched over like a squatting monkey, making wild gestures– just let that image sink in for a second – revokes her standard 'Hottie Waiver' when it comes to any moral violations...

Star Trek 539: Concerning Flight

539. Concerning Flight FORMULA: Future's End + A Matter of Time - all the time WHY WE LIKE IT: John Rhys-Davies. WHY WE DON'T: Where's the tension? REVIEW: Concerning Flight attempts to give a bigger role to John Rhys-Davies, unfortunately cast as a non-sentient hologram, and manages it by having the mobile emitter and the program simultaneously stolen by thieves unknown. His Leonardo spends the rest...

New Indiana Jones - is it worth it?

Harrison Ford and his movie-making cohorts are back with Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull . Was it worth it? After 19 years, hardly anything would be. Can anything live up to such hype as this movie has received? Probably not. But hype is overrated anyway, and the strength of the Indiana Jones series is that it was never meant to be taken seriously in the first place. Doing so will...

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (Special Edition)

Every element is exaggerated, with the humor broadened into 1941 style mechanized slapstick, and the character of Indiana Jones marginalized. Where the brilliant Raiders was an adventure film aimed at the child at heart, Temple of Doom is really designed for the kiddie market itself in the same reductionary way Lucas designed Return of the Jedi

The best of the big screen's bad guys

At first look, there isn't much missing from "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull." Harrison Ford, George Lucas and Steven Spielberg are all on board, and Karen Allen makes a welcome return. Sure we'll miss Indy's dad (Sean Connery) and Sallah and Marcus Brody (John Rhys-Davies and the late Denholm Elliott), but their absence is easy enough to understand. read more

Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark

Part of what has solidified Raiders status as a classic film is the numerous memorable moments the film carries, leading the picture to be spoofed and parodied quite often. Who can forget Indy's marketplace battle with the overzealous swordsman, the brawny battle with the German mechanic, and, of course, the abuse Indy takes chasing a simple truck.

A Look Back: Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade [Official Guide to Indiana Jones]

How This Movie Was Different While Temple of Doom was a monster hit, fans complained about Short Round and the general gross-out nature of the film. Spielberg and Lucas went back to basics to make The Last Crusade. Not only did they do a story that had a similar feel to ...

A Look Back: Raiders of the Lost Ark [Official Guide to Indiana Jones]

Where It Came From... After the success of the first two Star Wars films, Close Encounters of the Third Kind and Jaws, it only seemed only natural to have Steven Spielberg and George Lucas collaborate on a film. The two had developed a story about a swashbuckling archeologist while on vacation ...

The Adventures of Indiana Jones (Raiders of the Lost Ark/ Temple of Doom/ Last Crusade) - Widescreen Edition

As with Star Wars, the George Lucas-produced Indiana Jones trilogy was not just a plaything for kids but an act of nostalgic affection toward a lost phenomenon: the cliffhanging movie serials of the past. Episodic in structure and with fate hanging in the balance about every 10 minutes, the Jones features [...]
