Recurring Decimals..... (Free subscription) | yesterday
With very little to do last night, I ended up watching a TV re-run of Pretty Woman. Of course, the story felt quite corny and contrived compared compared to the experience when I first watched it almost 20 years ago [1] - although Julia Roberts’ gorgeous and breathtaking looks seemed timeless. DVD Reviews: Thousands of anti-war protesters take to the streets of a major Midwestern city during a presidential nominating convention and clash with heavily armed police. Substitute 1968 with 2008, Vietnam with Iraq, Chicago with Minneapolis-St. Paul and the Democrats with the Republicans and DVD release of "Chicago 10" seems as timely as ever.

There were some non-credible threats on Obama at Denver and there were some decent small-scale riots and arrests on the first day here [...]

It's interesting watching Chicago 10 while the 2008 Democratic convention is going on in Denver at the same time that the events chronicled in the film happened nearly forty years ago to the day.It is especially shocking to the eyes of a 22 year old to see such unrestrained violence and police brutality over a peaceful war protest, even with our own modern day parallels with the Iraq war. One would...

There may be no more depressing report in entertainment than TV Guide's annual look at how much media stars earn. That's because Two and a Half Men’s Charlie Sheen -- who I like well enough as a performer, all due...

While I personally disliked Night at the Museum, I can't hide from the fact that millions of people did love it, especially considering it went on to make $250 million back in December of 2006. If you didn't know, Fox is already in production on a sequel, titled Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian, and Ben Stiller recently finished filming in Washington DC. Robert over at Film School Rejects...
