I love Miss Marple and I have loved these new Marples with Geraldine McEwan , I must admit I did find it hard at first as I loved the 80's & 90's Miss Marple with the ever wonderful Joan Hickson (I have never really took to the other versions with Margaret Rutherford), but I really did come to love Geraldine McEwan in the role...

ITV has released details of Nemesis and Towards Zero , the last instalments filmed with McEwan before her retirement. Lets talk books. I've just finished Colin Dexter's Last Bus to Woodstock and I was struck just HOW different they are to the TV series. Morse seems like a totally different character and Lewis certainly is. Now this is not unusual many adaptations take the characters and locale and thats it. Frost is nothing like the book. As a rule I totally prefer the books over TV adaptations but Morse works incredibly...
