I found this question from Becky O a little difficult to answer at first, and of course I had to keep pushing "never trust a man with two first names" out of my brain. Because that's just a dumb rule to live by. Because come on. CLIVE OWEN. I would trust him with my everything. by dooce in Community , Nubbin © Armstrong Media, LLC. All rights reserved. The new teaser trailer for Phillip Noyce's Salt looks downright ass-kicking, although it'll take you a 90 seconds to get there. Initially, Salt looks similar to another generic espionage thriller, the likes of which Clive Owen has made a career...

Of all the actors who have played Philip Marlowe, Robert Montgomery in "Lady in the Lake" (1947) counts as my least favourite. I'm digging the classics that are up on YouTube posted in ten minute clips. I watched this one last night. The camera work presents Marlowe's point of view through his sight line which seems too gimmicky, while it also empties the leading man of all personality and...

The trailer for Disney's upcoming action flick Prince of Persia, which is based on the videogame franchise of the same name, leaked online today after running on British TV. Seeing the ever-vulnerable Jake Gyllenhaal in the role of action hero is a little strange — especially when he's going up against a villain like Ben Kingsley. The guy could eat Donnie Darko for lunch. Related posts: Rate-a-Trailer:...

The boys are back in town? No, no, no. That’s a rock song about punks.<> is a movie with Clive Owen. The description of it reads like a soap opera plot line (oxymoron intended). Man leaves wife and young son for another woman, and moves half way round the world. They have a son. Six years later, one of the women dies. Can the character, Joe Warr, be a single parent to both boys? Sounds...

It has been long rumored that “Sin City 2″ will kick off its production in 2010, and producer Stephen L’Heureux of Solipsist Films has recently confirmed the swirling speculation. Viral marketing — the technique of wrangling word-of-mouth to create a buzz around your product or idea — has been a powerful tool ever since the first caveman started the first rumor. Spreading the word person to person is the stuff of Avon dreams — and Bernie Madoff nightmares. And it requires the confidence to [...]

This is a little gross, but for some reason, it totally rings true to me. Us Weekly claims that Kate Hudson won’t shut up about how Alex Rodriguez is totally rocking her lady parts. Gah… really? If we’re going by how Kate is gushing to her friends (who then rushed out and [...]
