10 Actors to Watch: Tarantino pic helps Austrian vet find Hollywood -- When Christoph Waltz prepared for his indelible role of Hans Landa, the eccentrically charming but much-feared "Jew hunter" in "Inglourious Basterds," he didn't research Nazis. Having been born in Vienna, he grew up steeped in the history.

Quentin Tarantino 's monster hit Inglourious Basterds will be out on DVD just in time for Christmas; Universal, which co-distributed the film theatrically and apparently nabbed the lion's share of the coveted home video rights from Harvey Weinstein, has a December 15th release date lined up for the film. That also puts Basterds back on the radar for end-of-the-year awards voting, too, especially in...

Why did Nicolas Cage drop out of Michel Gondry's upcoming Seth Rogen–scripted Green Hornet movie? Allow him to explain: "I wasn't interested in just being a straight-up bad guy who was killing people willy-nilly. I had to have some humanity and try to give it something where you could understand why the character was the way he was. But there wasn't enough time to develop it." Thankfully,...
