The company said in a trading statement that it expected its regulated business to deliver good underlying operating profit growth in the six months to Sept 30, despite cost pressures in the first half in areas such as power and bad debts.

Last night I attended a public meeting at Claremount School in Leasowe, to discuss what could be done to get United Utilities to sort out the drainage problems at Reeds Lane and Reedville Grove.
