The 38 bus route

For the second time this week, I am having to deal with the consequences of a local company that appears not to give a toss. First, it was United Utilities. Today, it is the bus operator First. A month or so ago, I was quick to sing their praises when they agreed to extend the [...]

Reeds Lane Flooding - public meeting

Last night I attended a public meeting at Claremount School in Leasowe, to discuss what could be done to get United Utilities to sort out the drainage problems at Reeds Lane and Reedville Grove. The strength of feeling was high with over 50 residents attending. Earlier this month the drains failed, yet again, resulting in raw sewage in gardens [...]

UU where were U?

Tonight, around 40-50 residents attended a public meeting at Claremount School in Moreton. The meeting had been called following the flooding at Reedville Grove and concerns among residents that United Utilities are not taking this issue seriously.
