Most perfumes have a story, but Scents of Time take it to a whole new level. Launching exclusively in John Lewis stores tomorrow, these fragrances are hitting the shelves with a little help from BBC2's Dragon's Den. Two of the 'dragons', Peter Jones and Theo Paphitis, invested in David Pybus's business, which saw him "traveling the world with archaeologists and historians to reconstruct lost perfumes...

Those of you who watch Dragons Den will have seen Rachel Watkyn and Christian Richardson receive backing from Peter Jones and Theo Paphitis. It was an interesting programme in that it brought up the Dragon’s feelings about the environment. Earlier in the show Deborah Meaden had shown her thoughts on an ice cream box that she [...]

We may have scoffed at Theo Paphitis's apparent lack of understanding of human biology when he complained that women ' get themselves bloody pregnant ', but this story in today's Guardian suggests that he may actually have been on to something. According to the article, new US census data reveals that fewer children are being born in the States, a problem that's also contributing to ageing populations...

Dragons’ Den kicked off again tonight and I was quite surprised to see a band approach the Dragons for £75,000. The band put forward their proposal, and then sang a song for the five business gurus in the room. I loved it when Theo Paphitis asked them if they saw Simon Cowell in the room, as [...]

Today's G2 quotes Theo Paphitis (some kind of businessman, apparently) holding forth about the uselessness of pregnant women: [Women] "get themselves bloody pregnant and ... they always argue that they'll be working until the day before, have the baby, go down to the river, wash it off, give it to the nanny and be back at work the following day, but sure enough, their brains turn to mush, and then...

Theo Paphitis - the Dragon from Dragons' Den who manages to get the sentence "I could sell it in Rymans" into every show - has slated women in the workplace who "go and get themselves bloody pregnant". In an interview that's likely to delight many Telegraph readers, Paphitis tells the paper that paternity leave is "a bit soppy" and that women are useless for three months before birth because their...

Not my words, but those of serial entrepreneur, and Dragons Den panelist, Theo Paphitis. His reasoning is that our Government seems no longer capable of taking the consistent decisions needed to keep businesses motivated, and instead makes changes to tax and regulations which are totally confusing. In short, they have lost the plot, and could do great damage, as they still have two years to go (my...
