Autocar confirms that BMW has green-lighted a “MINI by Rolls-Royce,” featuring a “totally individual, coachbuilt” interiors finished at Rolls’ Goodwood plant. Dr Ulrich Bez, the boss of Aston Martin , certainly isn’t a fan of the current trend for battery-powered cars. At the Frankfurt Motor Show where he unveiled the new four-door Rapide , Dr Bez had said that plug-in motors would prove to be unworkable for at least 10 years.

There is good news for Aston Martin enthusiasts in the US! The V12 Vantage is said to not be available in North America and to be limited to 1,000 units in its one-year life span. However, there seems to be a glimmer of hope since CEO Dr. Ulrich Bez told the media during the Frankfurt Motor Show that Aston Martin may well build more of this sports car.
