In yesterday's 'Observer', Nick Cohen was blasting off that 'We must not shrink from our moral obligation to Burma' . In today's 'Times', it's Rosemary Righter blasting off that Burma's crisis is a 'test of the UN's moral authority' . The United Nations' track record shows it to be a profoundly amoral body; attempts to invest it with some kind of 'moral authority' flow from the same flawed thinking...
