Support for creationism in the UK

Graachi points to a rather concerning poll that suggests that 30% of the UK population believe in either creationism or "intelligent design". It does seem that a lot of people believe that for the world to be as complex as it is it needs a 'designer' and don't seem to be aware of the argument of the theory of evolution that these things can happen from a gradual accumulation of useful mutations.
