You know, the Coens really don't have the best of luck with remakes, which is probably all for the best, since their original ideas usually work so well. I think I'm just about the only person in the world who almost unconditionally liked their take on "The Ladykillers" (it probably helped that I know absolutely nothing about the original), but now they're getting back in the remake game...
